Biography

Long Jianhong, Chief Physician, Professor of Surgery, MD, Doctoral Supervisor. He graduated from Xiangya School of Medicine in 1983 and has engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in plastic and aesthetic surgery and microsurgery for 27 years. In 1998, he went to Australia as a visiting scholar and made considerable progress in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. After returning to China, he has long been committed to the research, promotion, and application of plastic and aesthetic techniques, has trained a large number of graduate students and advanced trainees in plastic and aesthetic surgery, has published nearly 30 academic papers, served as chief editor of 2 books, and obtained 6 research projects at provincial level or above.

Main research directions: eye plastic surgery, nasal plastic surgery, facial contour plastic surgery, and breast plastic surgery; skilled in free flap transplantation, hand function reconstruction, body surface organ reconstruction, and craniomaxillofacial surgery.
